The New and Improved Rossa: Coming in October

 We are proud to announce a new range of updated cruisers arriving shortly.

After a lot of field testing and consultations with existing customers we have made some improvements to the bikes components. The frame itself remains unchanged.

Some of the biggest improvements are focused around the wheels. Most notably the front.

The two most noticeable additions are a front mudguard and a disk brake. As well as providing superior stopping power compared to the outgoing calliper brake it makes for a much cleaner look.

The wheel diameter has increased from 26" to 27.5". As well as improving the overall aesthetic of the bike the larger diameter wheels provide superior rollover ability, improved momentum maintenance, and greater stability due to a longer contact patch.

The rims are now doubled walled. Double walled rims significantly increase the strength of the wheel, important when hitting potholes. If you have cycled in Dublin you will know all about them. These wheels are much more resistant to bending and buckling.

Keeping with the theme of improved durability the tires have been upgraded to Kenda kwick drumlin k shield. These tires feature long lasting rubber compounds and a lightweight, flexible layer of rubber, aramid and ceramic particles under the tread to increase puncture resistance. Don't worry, they're still ballon tires so ride comfort has not been sacrificed at the expense of durability.

The kickstand is now modular and the bike can now be equipped with either a single or double kickstand.

The chain has been upgraded and the length reduced very slightly to combat chain drop.

The rear mudguard has been extended and pannier racks added so you can take the weight off your back when cruising.
